Where Players Quit Little Nightmares III
74.53% of players finish the story of Little Nightmares III, but only 21.16% take the platinum. Its biggest drop is 12.87 points and it is not in the story: it is in a hidden secret, measured across 5,478 players.

The wall is not in the story: it is in a secret
The biggest drop on the whole list is 12.87 points and it happens between "Aim Low (and Alone)", held by 68.05%, and "Bullseye", which falls to 55.18%. Both are secret trophies: hidden interactions around the scenery that are not flagged anywhere.
That makes it an oddity within EveryTrophy. It is the fifth biggest wall we have measured and the first on that list that does not land on a progression trophy: the four above it are all advancement along the main path. Here people do not quit while advancing, they quit while searching.
The next two drops are story ones and even so they are smaller: 8.64 points from 96.66% to 88.02%, and 6.73 points from 85.94% to 79.21%. They are the normal tolls of any campaign, people who try the game and drop it in the first hour.
Little Nightmares III has no missable and no hidden trophies. Nothing on this curve is explained by having left something behind without knowing it: it is explained by not having gone back.
Finishing it is easy, completing it is another game
The four story trophies average 84.60% and the lowest of them, closing out the campaign, stops at 74.53%. Three out of four people who start Little Nightmares III finish it, which for a horror game is an extremely high figure.
From there the list collapses by group. The 19 secret trophies average 45.14% and fall to 23.73%. The 5 collectible trophies average 31.55% with a minimum of 28.31%. The 3 memory trophies hold up better, at 48.81% average and a minimum of 46.91%.
The platinum lands at 21.16%. The contrast between that number and the 74.53% who finish the story is the whole study. Nobody gets stuck on a challenge here: they simply never find out there was more.
The tail: collectibles first, the finish later
After the big wall the descent carries on, but in small steps now. The fourth drop is 6.52 points, from 41.97% to 35.45%, and that one really is a collectible drop: the moment you have to decide whether to replay the chapters with a checklist in hand. Further down there are 3.76 points from 45.73% to 41.97% and 3.51 points from 27.24% to 23.73%, which is the base-game trophy fewest people hold.
Between that 23.73% and the platinum's 21.16% there is almost no gap left. Whoever reaches the end of the secrets list platinums.
The Backstage DLC lives on another planet, and that is why it does not enter the wall calculation: its six trophies run from 9.33% to 5.11%, passing through 9.11%, 8.07%, 5.57% and 5.26%. That gradient is not quitting, it is content you have to buy separately.
If you are going for the platinum, the order barely matters: there are no missables and the level select lets you go back. What matters is having the secrets list in front of you from the very first playthrough.
All 38 trophies ranked by unlock rate
The full table you can reproduce any calculation on this page from. The «drop» column is the difference in points against the previous trophy that counts towards the platinum: the big steps are where people stop playing. Trophies marked separate are from DLC or from side modes that are not needed for the platinum, so they do not chain a drop — mixing them in would compare steps from different playthroughs.

Where these numbers come from, and why they need handling with care
Unlock rate for the 38 trophies in the PS5 version, measured across 5,478 tracked players. Snapshot source: Exophase, consulted on 21 August 2026. Of the total, 32 make up the platinum list and the other 6 come from the DLC, The Backstage, which are discarded when calculating the drops.
The important warning is the size: 5,478 players is the second smallest sample on the whole site. With that few people, differences of a few tenths between two consecutive trophies mean nothing, and another month of data could reshuffle the bottom of the table. What does hold up is the general shape of the curve: a step of 12.87 points is far too big to be noise.
Also, as in all our studies, these are players who use a trophy tracker: more motivated than average. The real percentages across all of PS5 are probably lower, though the proportions between trophies, which is what we analyse here, do not change.
Treat the figures in this study as an order of magnitude, not as a fine measurement. With 5,478 players, the exact ranking of the rarest trophies is still moving.
What this snapshot still cannot tell you
It is a snapshot of a single moment, taken less than a year after release. In a short game with no missables, percentages climb fast during the first months: part of the distance between the 74.53% who finish and the 21.16% who platinum is simply people who have not gone back yet.
From today we store a weekly snapshot of all 38 trophies. With that we will be able to say whether the 12.87-point wall erodes over time, which is what we would expect from an obstacle made of information, or whether it stays put.
That history cannot be recovered after the fact: if you do not start storing it, it does not exist.
