Where Players Quit Resident Evil Requiem
It is the smoothest curve we have measured: the biggest drop between two platinum trophies is 6.56 points and 39.63% have the platinum. We analysed all 50 trophies across 28,341 players to explain why there is no single point here where players break.

The biggest drop in the game is 6.56 points: there is no wall here
The usual thing in a survival horror game is to find a step: a trophy where the percentage collapses ten or twenty points at once and marks the exact place where people put the controller down. In Resident Evil Requiem that step does not exist.
The biggest drop between two consecutive trophies that count towards the platinum is 6.56 points: from the 58.89% of "Internal Dispute" to the 52.33% of "Credit Where Credit Is Due". Behind it come 6.51 points (from the 70.53% of "No Safe is Safe" to the 64.02% of "Bang For Your Buck") and 5.72 points (from the 86.09% of "Bring Out the Big Guns" to the 80.37% of "Rising Agent"). None of them reaches seven points.
It is the smallest maximum drop of the thirteen games we have measured so far at EveryTrophy. And it fits how the list is built: all 50 trophies count towards the platinum and none of them is missable, so there is no moment where someone finds out they have ruined their run and walks away.
The campaign filters nobody out
The ten story trophies are the portrait of a game people finish. They start at the 100.00% of "Déjà vu" —the only trophy with a clean hundred per cent on the whole site— and the least common of the group stops at 86.60%. The average for the entire campaign is 89.97%.
The mechanics group is just as comfortable: 90.82% on average across its fifteen trophies. They are the classic "use this once" kind and they fall into your lap as you go.
The group's only crack is its minimum, the 60.97% of "The Ol' Fashioned Way", which asks you to save at a typewriter with an ink ribbon. Ink ribbons only exist in Classic mode, so anyone who always plays on Modern never sees it. It is not difficulty: it is never having set foot in that mode.
The only real step is in the difficulty, and it sits right next to the platinum
If Requiem has no wall, it does have one last rung. The difficulty group is the most uneven on the list: its average is 65.35%, but its least common trophy drops to 41.90%, which is also the minimum of the whole game platinum aside. That trophy is finishing the story on Insanity difficulty.
And the platinum sits at 39.63%. There is almost no gap between the two, which means whoever clears Insanity ends up with the platinum.
The rest of the list squeezes less than it looks. The three run-wide challenges average 45.98% with a minimum of 44.50%; the nine collectibles, 52.71% on average and 45.12% for the worst; the eight combat ones, 73.71% on average and 52.13% for the worst. All of them above Insanity. That is why this is the second most common platinum of every one we have measured.
In practice: the route to this platinum is not planned around dodging some impossible trophy, it is planned around Insanity difficulty. The rest falls into place along the way.

The full table you can reproduce any calculation on this page from. The «drop» column is the difference in points against the previous trophy that counts towards the platinum: the big steps are where people stop playing. Trophies marked separate are from DLC or from side modes that are not needed for the platinum, so they do not chain a drop — mixing them in would compare steps from different playthroughs.

Where this data comes from
Unlock rate of the 50 trophies in the PS5 version, measured across 28,341 tracked players. Snapshot source: Exophase, consulted on 22 August 2026. All 50 count towards the platinum, none of them is missable and 30 are hidden.
30 of the 50 being hidden trophies does not change their rarity, but it does change behaviour: a good part of the list cannot be planned before playing it, and that pushes people to discover it as they go rather than deciding up front whether to chase the platinum.
A caveat about the sample: these are players who use a trophy tracker, a more motivated group than average. The real percentages across the whole PS5 player base are probably lower. The proportions between trophies, which is what we analyse here, are not affected.
What these numbers do not prove
A smooth curve does not mean everybody finishes. With the platinum at 39.63%, most of the people who start Requiem never reach the end of the list. What the data says is that those people do not fall away at one specific point, but spread across the whole curve.
It is not a play order either. Rarity measures cumulative unlocks, not when they happened: sorting trophies by percentage gives a statistical sequence, not anybody's real route. And the drops we measure are between consecutive trophies in that sorted list, not between two consecutive moments of a playthrough.
Finally, it is a snapshot of a single day and PS5 only. It says nothing about Xbox, Steam or Switch, and it cannot tell you how fast the platinum is growing. That needs a time series, and a time series cannot be recovered after the fact: if you do not start saving it, it does not exist.
