Where Players Quit Stellar Blade
43.1% reach Raven, the last boss before the final area, and 9.4% take the platinum. We analyse all 45 trophies across 104,321 players to explain why the big drop comes at the first boss and the wall is an ending almost nobody goes back for.

The biggest drop, 13.9 points, comes before the first boss
The biggest drop between two consecutive trophies on the curve is 13.9 points, and it comes at the start: from the 90.0% of Camp Preparation to the 76.1% of Abaddon, the first real boss. The next two also come early in the game: 7.5 points down to the Corrupter and 6.0 between Gigas and Altess Levoire.
Of the 46.9 points the story loses between the first Camp and Raven, 21.4 go in the first two bosses. It is the filter of an action game that is demanding from minute one: whoever does not click with parries and dodges quits before leaving the first city.
The other end is just as clear. The last four bosses — Belial, Karakuri, Demogorgon and Raven — run from 45.2% to 43.1%: barely 2.1 points. Whoever reaches that final stretch finishes it.
In Stellar Blade the story is decided early: half of everything the campaign loses is gone before you leave Eidos 7.
The wall is an ending: 31.8% against 13.8%
From the 43.1% who beat Raven to the 9.4% of the platinum there are 33.7 points, and the three endings explain most of it. Making New Memories is held by 31.8%, Return to the Colony by 24.7% and Cost of Lost Memories by 13.8%, the rarest trophy on the whole curve.
The two «memories» endings exclude each other: they depend on whether Lily’s bar reaches 100%. Whoever plays the first run thoroughly lands the first, and the second demands another full playthrough without picking anything up. For every ten players with Making New Memories there are just over four with the other.
From the 13.8% of that ending to the platinum there are 4.4 points left. And the trophy for finishing a New Game +, which is not on the curve, sits at 14.7%: practically the same people. The second playthrough and the ending that justifies it go hand in hand.
A single hidden trophy drags down the combat average
By group, the story averages 58.0%, the combat counters 41.4%, the side quests 40.8%, the upgrades 30.0%, the collectibles 27.1% and the endings 23.4%. The average of the 42 trophies that count towards the platinum is 41.2%.
The odd figure is in combat. Seven of the eight counters run from 54.8% to 30.5%, averaging 45.3%. The eighth, Revenging Agent, sits at 13.9%: 16.6 points below the next one and below the 89 Camps (16.6%). On its own it pulls the group average down by almost four points.
It is not harder than the rest: it asks for 50 kills in Tachy Mode. The difference is that it is hidden. Whoever does not know it exists does not use that mode enough, and the counter stalls halfway without the player noticing.
All 45 trophies ranked by unlock rate
The full table you can reproduce any calculation on this page from. The «drop» column is the difference in points against the previous trophy that counts towards the platinum: the big steps are where people stop playing. Trophies marked separate are from DLC or from side modes that are not needed for the platinum, so they do not chain a drop — mixing them in would compare steps from different playthroughs.

Where this data comes from
Unlock rate of all 45 trophies on PS5, measured across 104,321 tracked players. Snapshot source: PSNProfiles, checked on 25 September 2026, twenty-nine months after launch. 42 count towards the platinum: the two in the New Game + group, which PSN lists separately and are not required, are left out, because mixing them in would compare an optional second run with the steps of the first.
For «finishing the story» we use Raven, the last boss before the final area: no single ending captures everyone who finishes, because there are three and they split. The game has no permanently missable trophies — New Game + keeps your progress — although two points of no return lock content on each playthrough. It has 21 hidden trophies.
A note on the sample: these are players who use a trophy tracker, a more motivated crowd than average. The real percentages across all PS5 players are probably lower. The proportions between trophies, which is what we analyse, are not affected.
What this data cannot tell you
First, and this is what gets misread most: the curve sorts trophies by rarity, not by play order. When we say there is a 13.9-point drop between the first Camp and Abaddon, here the two happen to coincide, but in general it means they are two consecutive steps on that sorted list, not that people literally quit between one and the other.
Second: this is a snapshot of a single day, twenty-nine months after the PS5 launch and with the PC version already on sale. We do not know how fast the platinum reached 9.4%, or whether it is still climbing. With a single cut you cannot separate hard from long: a low trophy can be low because it is tough or because it is tedious, and this data does not tell the two apart.
And third: percentages measure behaviour, not difficulty. That the endings drop to a 23.4% average says how many people do them, not how hard they are to do.
