The twelve campaign challenges: six have a single window and you need to know them beforehand

The dinosaur is behind you at minute two and the Nile Guard bridge goes by in the first minute with no prompt at all. The twelve challenges, mission by mission, and the one that can bug out.

The ones that pass and do not come back

Six of these twelve challenges happen at one specific moment in their mission and the game prompts for none of them. Miss one and you replay the whole mission.

The End of an Era — 18.97%. The dinosaur figure in the NATO base, in Always Faithful. It is right at the start: after the first cutscene, turn around. The figure sits on the table behind you, inside the barracks. Nobody looks backwards at minute two of a game, hence the percentage. If the pick-up prompt does not appear, crouch and get as close as you can: the object has a small interaction window.

Roadside Assistance — 20.16%. Bring an overpass down onto a tank in Nile Guard. The nuance is that you are the one driving the tank: the mission starts at the wheel of an Abrams and at the first bridge you have to shoot it. It comes down in two shots. Anyone who drives under without firing replays the mission.

Blown Away — 28.48%. Destroy 3 floating mines in Operation Gladius. It is the first thing that happens: you start on a vehicle's turret as it drives itself towards shore, and black mines with flashing red lights appear in the water. The vehicle does not stop: it is a single window.

No Reinforcements — 18.49%. Down the reinforcement helicopter with a tank during Always Forward. The moment is the hypersonic-missile disarm: while your team works, leave the bunker. An Abrams pulls up outside; get in, drive a little and the helicopter appears. The game never asks you to leave anywhere: you have to do it on your own initiative.

I Spy… — 17.92%. Mark 20 enemies with your drone in Operation Ember Strike. The comfortable way: grab a quad, go to where the hypersonic missiles are disarmed, go prone so you are not noticed and launch the drone from there. You do not have to kill anyone, only mark.

Efficiency — 36.92%. Destroy 10 mannequins in The Rock. They come after the underground museum where the game takes your weapon: once you get your gun back you reach a dark room with soldiers hiding among mannequins. That first room alone holds about 20, so shoot anything that looks like a mannequin as you clear it.

Careful

The Nile Guard bridge and the Operation Gladius mines happen in the first minute of their missions with no prompt at all. Read them before starting each mission, not after.

The three rarest, and the one that can bug out

Sidearm Ace — 12.79%. Complete Night Raid using only pistols, knives or gadgets. No rifles and no shotguns for the whole mission.

The only exception is the rocket launcher, and only to bring the helicopter down: do not kill enemies with it or you lose the trophy. Throwing knives count as a gadget.

It is the campaign's rarest trophy. And there is a trick that saves the run: if you finish the mission and it does not pop, do not write it off. Wait through the closing cutscene and the next mission's intro, go back to the menu, select Night Raid and press continue. The cutscene replays and the trophy usually appears then.

Right Between the Eyes — 12.79%. Land 6 consecutive headshots in Moving Mountains. Tied with the above as the rarest.

Like Driving Nails — 13.89%. Kill 5 enemies with a mace in No Rest.

And the one to watch for a different reason:

Pineapple Incoming — 28.07%. Kill 3 enemies with a single grenade. The good spot is in the first mission: coming down from the sniper post, at the meeting with the squad, three or four enemies stand very close together.

Warning: there are reports of this trophy failing and not popping first time. If it happens to you, try again in later missions; tight enemy groups are plentiful and there is no penalty for repeating.

The three cumulative ones: no need to force them

The remaining three do not depend on a specific mission: the count runs across the whole campaign.

Liquidation — 34.75%. Kill 50 enemies with headshots. They do not have to be in one mission: it comes on its own if you play aiming for the head. And if you are short at the end, replay any mission with a sniper rifle: the 50 close in an afternoon and there is no attempt limit.

Armour Annihilation — 29.96%. Destroy 10 enemy vehicles. Any method works: rocket launcher, C4 or a tank's cannon when you are driving one. Enemy vehicles appear in almost every mission.

And if you are short at the end, Nile Guard and Always Forward put you at the wheel of an Abrams: it closes fast there. They are also the two missions holding Roadside Assistance and No Reinforcements, so one replay serves three purposes.

Pineapple Incoming — 28.07% is also cumulative in the sense that you can attempt it in any mission, even if the best spot is in the first.

How to order this whole block: do the six single-window ones in their mission and save the cumulative ones for the end. If you finish the campaign short on any of the three, a replay of Nile Guard closes almost all of them in one pass.
