The 25 missions and level 50: the trophy list does not follow the campaign's order

Long Live the Queen appears later in the list but its mission comes earlier in the game: going by trophy order will mislead you. Nine story and progression trophies.

The list's order lies

Five trophies mark progress through the 25 main missions, and one detail misleads anyone using the trophy list as a progress map: trophy order does not match campaign order.

| Trophy | Mission | No. of 25 | Have it | |---|---|---|---| | Two-bit Idolator | At the Gate | 6 | 79.84% | | The Help of a Hidden Hand | Vile Sanctuary | 14 | 61.94% | | Long Live the Queen | Flaming Vision | 10 | 64.55% | | Howling at the Moon | Another Day, Another Universe | 16 | 57.74% | | Everything Breaks | Order of the Timekeeper | 25 | 54.46% |

Look at the second and third rows: The Help of a Hidden Hand appears earlier in the list, but its mission is the 14th; Long Live the Queen appears later, and its mission is the 10th.

If you trust the list to tell you where you are, you will be wrong. Go by mission number. The percentages confirm it: the mission-10 trophy has more people (64.55%) than the mission-14 one (61.94%), exactly as the real order implies.

Two-bit Idolator — 79.84%. Mission 6 marks the end of the introductory stretch. And that is the moment to make a decision: from here it pays to pick up contracts and side quests as you go. There are 80 contracts and 98 side quests, and saving them for the end means redoing the whole map.

Everything Breaks — 54.46%. A little over half of everyone who starts Borderlands 4 finishes it.

From 10 to 50: levels do not come from killing

Four level trophies, and the most useful one to understand is the jump from 30 to 50.

Crimson Ascent — 98.94%. Level 10. Practically everyone who boots the game.

Level Seeker — 66.62%. Level 30. It falls on its own: it comes from finishing the main story — the 25 missions — and touching some side content. No need to chase it.

Leader of Death and Dance — 46.04%. Level 50, the cap. And here is the nuance: the jump from 30 to 50 is not about killing more. It comes from completing the 25 main missions and the 98 side quests. Do that and the level arrives by itself.

It is gold, and since the side quests are also what award the four faction trophies, everything advances together if you do not ignore them. Farming enemies to level is the long road; doing side quests is the short one.

Fifth Gear! — 25.89%. Level 5 of Unmatched Vault Hunter, the progression that follows level 50. That is where the separation between players and 100% hunters begins.

And a practical note for after the credits: finishing the campaign opens a mode where a freshly created character starts directly at level 30. It is also where the game's two missable trophies can be recovered, if you let them slip.
