Draefendi, Brand, Aeber, Bifelgan and Sealticge: the five remaining rings

Three rings sit together at 73% and two drop to 53%. That step says exactly where the eight-gods chain stops advancing on its own.

The step from 73% to 53%

Of the eight gods' rings, these five are the ones left out of the first-three guide. And their percentages form two very clear groups:

| Ring | God | Have it | |---|---|---| | Ring of the Prince of Thieves | Aeber | 73.30% | | Ring of the Huntress | Draefendi | 73.11% | | Ring of the Thunderblade | Brand | 73.11% | | Ring of the Trader | Bifelgan | 54.02% | | Ring of the Lady of Grace | Sealticge | 53.31% |

The first three are practically tied73.30%, 73.11% and 73.11% — and that tie to the second decimal is no accident: it means they travel together through the progression. Whoever gets one gets all three, so there is no need to plan them separately.

And then there is a twenty-point step. Bifelgan and Sealticge drop to 54.02% and 53.31%, also nearly tied with each other. That jump signals that the last two no longer arrive along the way: you have to go looking for them.

The practical reading: if you have three rings, you have the three easy ones. The two missing belong to a different stretch of the game, and they are what decide whether you close the collection or not.

Why they matter beyond the trophy

The rings are not a decorative collectible: they are the system that binds Octopath Traveler 0's progression to its eight gods, and each awards its own trophy.

That means the complete collection is eight trophies, not one. It is the list's largest block after Wishvale's construction, and therefore the one that weighs most if you miss any.

And the warning the percentages imply: the step between 73% and 53% coincides with the point where the game stops holding your hand. The three tied rings arrive by following the plot; Bifelgan's and Sealticge's require going off-route.

If you are going for the platinum, the rule is simple: do not assume the collection is nearly done just because you have five or six. The last rings are the ones that cost, exactly as happens with Master of Orsterra — travelling to every location, 42.38% — or The Summoned — recruiting every traveller, 43.8%.

Three different systems and the same pattern: 80% of the content arrives on its own and the final 20% is what decides the platinum.
