What languages Octopath Traveler 0 is in, and what that means for its trophies
The game ships in Japanese and English only, with Chinese and Korean added on Xbox and PC. Here is what that means for reading and matching the trophy list.
Two languages, and that is the whole list
Octopath Traveler 0 is localised into Japanese and English, and nothing else on console. On PS5, PS4 and Switch those two are the only options for interface, subtitles and voice alike. On Xbox and PC the interface and subtitles add Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Korean, but the audio stays Japanese or English.
That is unusually narrow for a Square Enix RPG of this size: there is no Spanish, French, German or Italian version at all, on any platform. Both figures come from Square Enix's own support page and the Steam store listing.
The upside for you: because English is one of the two source languages, every trophy name on this site is the official one, exactly as your console prints it. There is no translation layer to second-guess.
Matching them up in your own list
The English names are what you will see on PlayStation, Xbox and Steam, so you can search this guide for the exact string in front of you: "Dragonslayer", "Master of Orsterra", "Treasures of Legend".
If you are playing with the interface in Japanese, the names will not match. Use the trophy description instead — those line up one to one with the English list, and the rarity percentages are the same either way.
