Why this trophy is the platinum

A Champion's Path is held by 19.8% and the platinum by 18.0%. It is the rarest trophy on the list, and almost everyone who earns it goes on to platinum. The second rarest, Obtained Vessels, sits at 29.3%: ten points away.

What it asks is simple to state: one win against a Nightlord with each of the eight base-game characters. What makes it long is that it is eight full expeditions of around 45 minutes, each with a character you may not have mastered, and a loss does not count.

Unlocking the Duchess and the Revenant

Six characters are available from the start; two are unlocked, and each gives its own trophy.

The Duchess (71.3%): coming back from the first expedition against Gladius you receive the Old Pocketwatch, even if you lose. Give it to the white-cloaked girl in the Roundtable Hold.

The Revenant (55.8%): with the Duchess unlocked, buy the Besmirched Frame at the Small Jar Bazaar for 1,500 Murk, the currency that carries over between expeditions. A phantom marked with an exclamation point appears near the sparring grounds; talking to it starts a fight against her and her three summons. Focus on her and keep away from the spirits.

How to get it without extra repeats

You do not need to vary the Nightlord: the same one counts for all eight wins, and the practical route is repeating Gladius, the first. You do not need to wait for the end either: every story win already counts for the character you win it with, so rotate characters as you progress and save yourself runs.

The catch that trips people up: you have to finish the expedition yourself as that character. A teammate winning with it does not count for you. The game does not show progress, so write down who you have won with. The two characters added by The Forsaken Hollows expansion, from December 2025, are not needed: the expansion brought no trophies.

While you are in the Roundtable Hold, also clear Dresser (53.3%): the dresser opens after beating two different Nightlords and changing garb once is enough.

Key

Rotate characters from the second expedition onwards. Every story win with a new character is one box fewer on A Champion's Path.
