Relics and vessels: how they fit together

The Shrouded Roundtable Hold is your base: you reach it at the end of the tutorial against Margit, win or lose, and the first trophy pops (93.2%). This is where expeditions are prepared.

At the end of every expedition you receive relics, which carry over from run to run. They are equipped at the relic rites altar in the central room, and doing it once gives Relic (81.3%). Each relic has a colour, and only fits a slot of the same colour on the vessel you are using.

That is why vessels exist: each mixes different slot colours. After the first expedition the Small Jar Bazaar starts selling them, and buying one and performing the rite with it gives Vessel (62.4%). Buying without performing the rite is not enough.

The eleven vessels

Obtained Vessels (29.3%) asks you to buy all 11 vessels from the shop. PowerPyx, Fextralife and the PSNProfiles guide agree on the figure. Some go on sale early, but the rest only appear after defeating all eight Nightlords.

The figure that explains it: Nightlord Conqueror is held by 45.2%. Almost sixteen points' worth of players beat all eight and never close this trophy, which no longer asks for any win: just banking Murk between expeditions and going back to the shop. Since A Champion's Path forces you to keep playing after the ending, the logical move is to buy as you go with what those eight expeditions pay out.

Along the way, the Roundtable Hold's dresser opens after beating two different Nightlords; changing garb once gives Dresser (53.3%).

Key

Do not spend Murk on garbs before owning all eleven vessels if you are going for the platinum: vessels are a trophy and garbs are not, except the first one for Dresser.
