The hidden secrets of Little Nightmares III: the block that decides the platinum
Nineteen of the 31 platinum trophies are hidden interactions that are never flagged. Why 74% finish the game and only 21% complete it.
And it counts towards Institutionalized, Spanner in the Works, required for the platinum.
Nineteen trophies that are never flagged
This is what defines the Little Nightmares III platinum. Most of the list is hidden interactions scattered around the scenery: a phone that rings, a target to shoot at, a bird to ruffle, a door you are not meant to open indoors.
None of them is hard to pull off. All of them are impossible to find if you do not know they exist, because the game never marks them anywhere or gives you a single hint.
The number that proves it
Compare two figures. 74.53% of players finish the Little Nightmares III story. But almost all the secret trophies sit around 30%.
Those forty-odd points of difference are people who played the whole game, enjoyed it and never knew there was anything else to look for.
It is by far the game we have covered where information counts for more than skill. Reading a guide before you play is not cheating here: it is the only way to see everything.
None of them is missable. Chapter select lets you go back to any chapter, so you can hunt them all down once the story is over.
The three most people miss
Hand-Eye Coordination (23.73%) is the least common base-game trophy in the whole game. Behind it come Spanner in the Works (27.24%) and Loose Threads (28.31%).
And at the other end there are three almost everyone gets without trying: Light or Flight (86.20%), Hello? (85.94%) and Illuminating Experiences (76.85%). They are right there on the way.
