The thirteen chapters: what each one unlocks and where not to walk past
No chapter trophy is missable, but each chapter opens a mechanic other trophies depend on. The full map: which blade, which ability and which farming spot sits in each one.
And it counts towards Felons, Those before us, From hell it rose, Desolation it wrought, What Lies Beneath, Death it sowed, Resonance, Night has come, Parallel paths, Patera, Fading Light, As One, A new beginning, required for the platinum.
What is in each chapter
The fourteen progress trophies come on their own. What does not come on its own is knowing what opens in each chapter, because the other twenty-three depend on it.
This is the table worth having in front of you before you start.

| 4 | 53.5% | Bottle bridge · Kopis · focus attack at the end |
| 5 | 41.0% | The petrified appear · Greek Sword · chest Brute |
| 6 | 36.1% | The creature appears · Sica · farming its two trophies |
| 7 | 29.5% | Khopesh · good spot for Inherited brutality |
| 8 | 28.1% | No collectibles at all. Checkpoint: you should be around 100 points |
| 9 | 24.1% | Broken Spear, the only tomb with no puzzle |
| 10 | 19.1% | The big-fight bridge: five trophies · Xiphos · Light Concentrate |
| 11 | 16.1% | The Corrupted appear · section packed with petrified |

The two chapters that hold nearly everything
If you only had to remember two numbers from this guide, they would be 4 and 10.
Chapter 4 is where the game turns into a trophy game. Almost as it starts you reach a bridge with several soldiers and a great many bottles, and that spot closes No holds barred and Overboard together — bottle to stun, kick to drop him, restart the section. It also holds the Kopis, and at the end of the chapter it unlocks the focus attack, which three more trophies depend on.
Chapter 10 is the other. Its first fight is against a very large group on a bridge, and five trophies fit there: Returning the favor, Inherited brutality, Untouchable, Skilled maneuverer and Sharp enough for you? Near the end of the chapter the Light Concentrate unlocks, a prerequisite for Refraction, and in the following-the-raiders section sits the Xiphos, the eighth and final blade.
Between them they account for twelve trophies, a third of the list.
The drop-off curve and Chapter 14
Thirteen chapter trophies spread across the whole campaign give a very readable drop-off curve: from 90.9% on Chapter 1 to 13.7% on Chapter 13.
The biggest fall sits between Chapter 3 and Chapter 5, from 67.4% to 41.0%: a quarter of all players is lost there. It is when the petrified appear and the game stops being a quiet adventure.
From the midpoint on, the decline flattens a lot. Between Chapter 11 and 12 there is only 1.1 points of difference — 16.1% and 15.0% — which means something very practical: whoever reaches Chapter 11, finishes.
And a structural detail that confuses people reading the list: the thirteen chapter trophies are hidden and A new beginning is not, exactly the reverse of the norm. The reason is obvious reading the names in sequence: they are verses that tell the ending.
After Chapter 13 there is a Chapter 14 that awards no trophy and holds no collectibles. The gap between As One (13.7%) and A new beginning (13.2%) is that half-tenth of people who finish the last playable chapter and never see the credits.
