«Split Fiction» has 21 trophies and a platinum held by 3.0% of players, while 41.2% finish the story. Only one in fourteen of those who reach the credits takes the platinum.
The wall is neither long nor hard overall: it is two execution trophies that do not forgive a single mistake. Cold Potato (3.3%) asks you to finish the bomb Gameshow without it ever exploding, and restarting the checkpoint does not count. You Are Not a Robot (4.2%) asks you to beat a phone test in about a minute while your partner drives.
The rest is hidden gags along the story and six benches nobody points out, all recoverable through chapter select. No online trophies and no difficulty settings. Around 12 to 15 hours, and both players need to own the game.

Is the Split Fiction platinum hard?

The figure that explains it: the platinum is at 3.0% and Cold Potato at 3.3%. That trophy, the bomb Gameshow without a single explosion, and You Are Not a Robot (4.2%) are the whole platinum. With a well-coordinated partner, they come in a few attempts.
Are there missable trophies, and how many playthroughs does it take?
One playthrough. Almost every trophy can only be done in one specific section, but chapter select works by section and lets you go back to any of them after the ending.
The Accessibility menu has an option to skip to the next checkpoint: with it, reaching a forgotten trophy takes minutes. The only thing you cannot recover halfway is Cold Potato: if the bomb explodes, you have to restart the whole side story.
Can you earn trophies playing with the Friend's Pass?
No. The Friend's Pass lets someone without the game play the full adventure online, but only the player who owns it earns trophies.
If you both want the platinum, you both need the game. In local or online co-op between two owners, trophies pop for both of you at the same time.
