Master Builder, roads, mines, monorail and hot springs
The 18 structures for Master Builder (7.5%), including the two the game does not track on your profile and the two you have to finish yourself. Plus the construction work: three mines, a monorail line and the first hot spring.
And it counts towards My First Structure, Road Restorer, Dig, Dig, Dig!, Rail Restorer, Spring into Life, Written in the Stars, required for the platinum.
The 18 structures and the four traps
My First Structure is the most common trophy in the game, at 91.0%. Master Builder, building one of every type, sits at 7.5%: the third rarest trophy. The gap is not about difficulty but about four details.
The first two: the Bridge and the Safe House only count if you finish them with your own materials. Placing the foundation with the PCC already adds to the profile stats, which is why many people think they have them.
The other two: the SSS profile tracks 17 types, but neither the Hot Spring Digger nor the deployable shield appears. If you have all 17 and nothing pops, it is those. The digger comes with Spring into Life and the shield is given by the Pioneer at his level 1.
| Type | How many | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| PCC structures | 12 | Bridge and Safe House, finished with your materials; the Hot Spring Digger is not on the profile |
| Tools | 3 | Ladder, climbing anchor and guidepost; the guidepost comes with the Northern Environmental Observatory's level 2 |
| Weapons | 2 | Electric trap (the Architect's level 2) and deployable shield (the Pioneer's level 1), which is not on the profile |
| Sign | 1 | Any |
NPC aid requests make you build almost every PCC structure in the right spot, and they also raise the level of the facility that asks.
Roads, mines and the shortest monorail line
Three construction trophies, in steps: one road section (57.5%), three mines (39.4%) and a full monorail line (31.9%). Auto-Pavers and track terminals do not show on the map until you scan them with the Odradek up close, and other players' contributions count for all of them.
There are nine mines, all in Australia. The one north of F1 is restored in Main Order No. 13 and another through a sub order from the Western Environmental Observatory, so make the third one of those on a monorail line: a line's mines are part of restoring it.
The shortest line is the central one, with three stops. Restoring all three is worth it anyway: the train moves heavy cargo and vehicles between stops, and every finished section earns you Likes from other players.
| Line | Stops, in order |
|---|---|
| Central | Terminal Fort Knot (F8) · F5 East Distribution Center · mine north of the Tar Lake |
| West | F1 · mine north of F1 · F2 South Distribution Center · mine near the F3 crater |
| East | F6 · mine north of F6 · F4 · north-eastern mine |
Hot springs: the bucket on your head and the stars
There are nine hot springs, all in Australia, and only the first two exist at the start. The first is outside the Episode 7 facility: bathe in it and choose to put the bucket on your head. You come out in the spring at Heartman's lab, where the Hydrologist adds the Hot Spring Digger to the level 2 and 3 PCC. He marks a spot west of the lab for the first one you dig: that is Spring into Life (21.6%).
Written in the Stars (21.8%) asks you to get into a spring at night under a clear sky and hold the button to look at the stars. The Episode 7 spring and the one north-west of the Animal Shelter tend to have the fewest clouds. If it is daytime or overcast, sleep on the ship to change the time or the weather.
