The firsts: the steak, the Focus Strike and the menus nobody opens
Eight easy trophies the game never teaches: the well-done steak sits at 39.7% and customising a camp at 51.1%. Where each one is and the detail that trips people up.

Mounting, sneak attacks and the Focus Strike
The Bigger They Are... (81.5%): jump from your Seikret onto a large monster. The trophy pops when you dismount, not when you climb on.
Hunter-Assassin (70.4%): approach from behind a monster that has not seen you, crouched and with your weapon sheathed; with the weapon drawn the prompt never appears.
Hit 'Em Where It Hurts! (69.2%) is the misleading one: it asks for 50 Focus Strikes — the special attack launched from Focus Mode — on wounds or weak points. Hitting normally with the mode active does not count. Wounds show in red when the mode is active; on tempered monsters, scars open into blue wounds that also count.
The grill, the camps and the Seikret
Was It a Meal to Remember? (78.8%) comes with any meal on the BBQ Grill. Mmm, So Tasty! (39.7%), half of that, is the steak: you need Raw Meat from small monsters, choose to grill meat and press once your hunter has flipped it and it is golden brown. Pressing early or late ruins it.
Campmaster (59.2%) asks for Pop-up Camps in 10 places, with the Camping Kit or by asking the Palico at base camp. Glamper (51.1%) is changing anything on one by talking to the support Palico, and Ride-or-die Companion (67.1%) is changing a Seikret colour in the tent's appearance menu. Both pop when you save, not when you open the menu.
Fact
Resting at the grill or in the tent changes the region's time and weather: it is the trick behind endemic life, fishing, apex predators and crowns.
