100 multiplayer quests and 100 Palico quests: how to stack them

The two-player rule

Hunters United Forever (34.4%) asks for 100 quests with another real player in the session when they finish. Someone Worth Following (35.1%) asks for 100 with your Palico deployed. The two percentages nearly match because they are done together or not at all.

The Palico comes along solo or with just one other player. If a third joins, it goes back to camp; and the Support Hunters called by the SOS Flare take its place without being real players, so that quest counts for neither.

The fix: play as a pair and cap the number of hunters at two in the quest settings. Every hunt counts for both trophies, plus the 50 quests, Hunter Rank 100 and the other counters. Start during the story, not at the end.

Key

With nobody to play with: do the 100 Palico quests solo, without flares, and answer other players' SOS Flares for the 100 multiplayer quests. They are short hunts and count even if you join halfway.
