51 tools, 20 masks and 28 maps: Pharloom's nine collectibles
Cartographer asks for the map of all 28 areas, and maps are bought from Shakra: you have to find her in each area before pushing too far ahead. Nine collectibles from 53.73% to 28.30%.
And it counts towards Woven, Consumed, Masked, Extended, Regenerated, Cartographer, Connected, Transported, required for the platinum.
Cartographer: the one you lose by pushing too far
Cartographer — 36.75%. Get the map for all 28 areas of Pharloom.
And the warning to read before you start exploring: maps are bought from Shakra, and you have to find her in each area before pushing too far ahead. It is not a collectible you pick up off the ground whenever you remember: it depends on a character who moves through the world at her own pace.
That makes this the most fragile of the nine. It is not lost through difficulty or through failing to find a hidden object: it is lost by moving faster than the game.
The rest of the block, ordered by percentage:
| Trophy | What it asks | Have it | |---|---|---| | Transported | 6 Ventrica stations | 53.73% | | Connected | 10 bellways | 51.82% | | Regenerated | 3 silk hearts | 40.62% | | Crested | 7 crests | 37.11% | | Cartographer | 28 maps | 36.75% | | Woven | 6 silk skills | 36.40% | | Expanded | 18 spool fragments | 31.10% | | Masked | 20 mask shards | 30.71% | | Arsenal | 51 tools | 28.30% |
The two transport systems sit at the top — 53.73% and 51.82% — because opening them is useful while you play, not only at the end. The bellways are the kingdom's fast-travel network and the Ventrica stations are the second system, in the Citadel.
Maps are bought from Shakra and you have to find her in each area before pushing too far. It is this game's only collectible you lose by moving fast rather than by not looking.
The 51 tools and the three upgrade systems
Arsenal — 28.30%. Obtain all 51 tools in the game.
It is Silksong's largest collectible and the lowest of the nine: only one player in four closes it. And the reason is that they do not come from one place: there are tools from shops, from exploration, from quests and from optional content. No single route picks them all up.
Hornet's three upgrade systems each have their own trophy, and they are worth telling apart because people confuse them:
Masked — 30.71%. The 20 mask shards scattered through Pharloom, which max out Hornet's health.
Expanded — 31.10%. The 18 spool fragments, which max out her silk reserve.
Regenerated — 40.62%. The 3 silk hearts. And here is the important difference: they are not scattered collectibles, they are unique upgrades, and each is obtained at a marked point in the adventure. That is why its percentage is ten points above the other two: you do not have to find them, you have to get there.
And the two customisation systems:
Crested — 37.11%. The 7 crests. Each one reconfigures Hornet's attack, silk and tool slots: they are not cosmetic, they are different playstyles.
Woven — 36.40%. Bind all 6 silk skills, the special techniques equipped at the bench. Here is the nuance that already appears in the game's first trophy: finding them is not enough, you have to bind them.
