First things first: they do not count towards the platinum

True Ninja, the platinum, is earned with the 44 base-game trophies. The 8 from The Two Masters sit completely apart.

Worth being clear on that before buying the expansion thinking it is compulsory: it is not. And worth being even clearer on it before diving in, because it is a good deal harder than the original game.

The two rarest trophies in the game are here

Compare the percentages against the base-game platinum, held by 14.46%. Seven of the eight are bronze.

Fact

Conqueror of the Abyss is held by 3.37%: four times rarer than the base-game platinum itself. If the real 100% of Ninja Gaiden 4 interests you, that is the trophy that decides it.

How the ranks break down

NINJA GAIDEN 4 splits its 53 trophies into 1 platinum, 4 gold, 5 silver and 43 bronze: 1,335 points on the PlayStation scale.

What stands out is how lopsided the list is: 43 of the 53 are bronze. And here the rank tells you nothing about what a trophy costs. Conqueror of the Abyss, at 3.37%, is the rarest trophy in the whole game and it is a bronze. Surf Ninja (16.94%) and Laser's Edge (18.35%) are too.
