Dying Light: The Beast trophies and achievements
Dying Light: The Beast has 43 trophies, but the platinum only needs 30. The other 12 arrived in updates — New Game+, Nightmare difficulty and Restored Land Mode — and they do not count.
That makes the platinum pretty approachable: we score it 4 out of 10, it runs 25-35 hours and there is not a single missable trophy. Half of everyone who starts the game finishes it, which is an extremely high completion rate.
Now, if you are after real 100%, it is a different story: all seven Restored Land trophies sit below 4%, and three of them hover around 1%.
Here is the full guide to all 43, what counts towards the platinum and what does not, plus a breakdown of the mode only one player in a hundred finishes.

Common questions about Dying Light: The Beast trophies
How many trophies do you need for the Dying Light: The Beast platinum?
30, not 43. The game has 43 trophies in total, but 12 of them arrived in later updates — New Game+ and Legend levels, Nightmare difficulty and Restored Land Mode — and none of them count towards the platinum.
It is a distinction that changes the planning completely: the platinum is 25-35 hours; real 100% is a very different thing.
Is the Dying Light: The Beast platinum hard?
No. We score it 4 out of 10. There is not a single missable trophy, none of them depend on difficulty and the world stays open after the story, so anything you skip can be finished later.
The bulk of the work is the Castor Woods collectibles, which is time rather than skill.
Are there any missable trophies?
None. It is an open world that never closes: once the story is over you can keep roaming Castor Woods and finish whatever is left.
What is Restored Land Mode and is it worth it?
It is the hardest mode in the game, added in an update, and its seven trophies all sit below 4%.
Three of them hover around 1%: Unbeatable (1.10%), which asks you to finish it with the One Life option turned on, Peace Bringer (1.11%) and Hoarder (1.17%). For scale, the platinum itself is held by 15.98%.
You do not need any of it for the platinum. For real 100% it is practically the whole job.
What is the rarest trophy in Dying Light: The Beast?
Unbeatable, at 1.10%. It asks you to complete the whole story in Restored Land Mode with the One Life option turned on: die once and it is over.
It is the two hardest modes in the game combined, and one player in a hundred has it.
