23 safe zones, 11 power stations and four races: the map of Castor Woods
The power stations do not appear on the map until you finish the wiring quest, and Travis's races do not exist unless you do the side quest that opens them. Five world trophies and their prerequisites.
And it counts towards And Then There Was Light, Kylin McCrane, Sunday Morning Run, Crane on a Monument, required for the platinum.
Two things not on the map yet
Before you start sweeping Castor Woods, two prerequisites that save hours of pointless searching.
Let There Be Light — 43.09%. Activate the map's 11 power stations. And the detail that saves trips: they do not appear until you complete the wiring quest. Before that quest they are not on the map no matter how hard you look.
Kylin McCrane — 23.51%. Win gold in all four of Travis's races. First you have to open them: they come from a side quest starting near the highway tower safe zone. Skip it and the races do not exist.
And before attempting them, buy efficient driving and collision expert: with those two skills, gold goes from awkward to reasonable. It is the difference between replaying each race ten times and clearing it on the second try.
We'll Be Safe Here! — 42.67%. Activate all 23 safe zones. On the map they show as question marks until you get close, so they cannot be planned in one go: you have to travel.
And a reason to do them even without chasing the trophy: they give blueprints, which is exactly what Handyman needs — the base game's rarest gold. Activating them is not wasted time.
Safe zones and power stations sit at 42.67% and 43.09%, almost identical. That means whoever does one set does the other, because they are covered together: it is the same map.
Ten kilometres and the game's highest point
Morning Run — 90.35%. Run at least 10,000 metres. It pops practically on its own: in a parkour game, ten kilometres is an afternoon.
Mountaineer — 35.19%. Climb to the top of the heroes' monument twin towers: the highest point in the game.
There is no trick beyond the climb itself, and there is also a weapon-mod blueprint up there, so the trip pays twice. That 35.19% does not measure difficulty: it measures that nobody climbs up by accident. You have to decide to and climb.
The overall reading of this block: all five world trophies happen on the same route. The 23 safe zones and 11 power stations are spread across Castor Woods, the twin towers are on the same map, and the ten kilometres accumulate while moving between them.
If you are going for the platinum, the efficient approach is not one trophy after another: it is sweeping the map once with everything unlocked. That means the wiring quest and Travis's side quest first, then going out to comb. By the end of that lap you will have all five, plus a good share of Handyman's 49 blueprints and of the 500 roadkills for These Things Aren't Funny if you travel by vehicle.
