The two singers, the licker's tongue and the 200,000 credits
Deadly Duet looks like a story trophy and is not: the two singers sit in specific rooms, and if you never enter them the trophy waits for the next run. Eight combat feats and the four collectibles.
And it counts towards Deadly Duet, Seasoned Pro, Not Today, Buds!, Grace and Goliath, Bang For Your Buck, Internal Dispute, Cat Got Your Tongue?, Master Craftsman, Credit Where Credit Is Due, Model Mania, Curator, required for the platinum.
The ones that look like story trophies and are not
Deadly Duet — 89.73%. Kill both singing zombies in the main story.
The wording says "in the main story" and that misleads: it is not a story trophy. They stand in specific places and do not cross your path by chance:
- One in the west wing bar, second floor. - The other in the east wing conference room, second floor.
Finish the run without entering those two rooms and it waits for the next one. It is the pattern that repeats through most of this game: trophies that say "in the main story" are telling you where they are, not that they come on their own.
Order Up! — 88.09%. Kill the chef in the patient centre during the main story.
Not Today, Weeds! — 77.24%. Kill every sprout on floor 43. They are spread through one specific area and it is easy to leave one behind: hence a percentage ten points below the singers'.
Seasoned Professional — 88.66%. Kill 300 enemies. Here there is good news: the count is cumulative across runs, and since the platinum asks for several laps, it arrives on its own. If you are short at the end, any area with waves closes it quickly.
The four specific ones: tongue, Chunk, friendly fire and one shot
Grace and Goliath — 70.90%. Kill a Chunk while playing as Grace, which is the part of the game without heavy weaponry. That detail is the whole trophy: the same enemy with Leon does not count.
Profitable Massacre — 64.02%. Kill 3 or more enemies with a single Requiem shot. You have to wait for a lined-up group, so it is a patience trophy more than an aim one: the opportunity arrives on its own in the wave areas.
Internal Dispute — 58.89%. Get one zombie to attack another in the hospital units. It is among the game's most specific trophies: you have to provoke friendly fire between the infected in one particular area, not just anywhere.
Cat Got Your Tongue? — 52.13%. Cut a β2 licker's tongue with the axe.
It is the lowest in this block, for a purely mechanical reason: lickers attack with the tongue from range, and you have to hit it at the exact moment of the attack. Walking up and swinging does not work: you wait for the lash and answer it.
The recommended order if you are going for the platinum: do Internal Dispute and the licker tongue on the comfortable lap — the low-difficulty one — because they are the two that need the most attempts. The other two arrive naturally.
The four collectibles: it all runs through credits
The four collectibles are the game's lowest trophies after Madhouse mode, and all four sit between 45% and 53%. That makes them this platinum's real filter, because the story trophies all sit above 86%.
I Can't Believe It — 52.33%. Obtain 200,000 credits in total. It accumulates across runs, so it falls on its own if you replay, and the platinum already asks you to replay.
Model Parade — 45.58%. View every model in the gallery.
Art Collector — 45.12%. View every design illustration in the gallery.
And here is the connection that organises the whole block: both gallery trophies unlock with credits. They go hand in hand with I Can't Believe It, and their near-identical percentages — 45.58% and 45.12% — confirm it: whoever buys one buys the other, because they come from the same purse.
The practical consequence: do not hoard credits out of caution. The supply case and the gallery compete for the same money, but the 200,000 is a counter of credits obtained, not saved. Spend.
Master Craftsman — 50.92%. Craft every possible item with Leon.
At that percentage it already separates the platinum hunters, for two reasons: you have to unlock every diagram — which come from the analyses behind Eureka! — and also have the materials for each. Knowing the recipe is not enough.
The order that works: analyse everything you find from the start so the diagrams keep opening, and leave the full crafting for when materials are plentiful, which in this game means the second lap.
