The three trophies fewest people have

The Ghost of Yōtei platinum is held by 42.40%. And these three, all required to earn it, sit just above: between 1.16 and 1.67 points.

That short gap is the story. No trophy required for the platinum can be rarer than the platinum — you would need it to earn the platinum in the first place — so the most that can happen is what happens here: they are the last ones to fall. Whoever has these three already has the platinum, or is one step away.

Why they cost more than the rest

They have one thing in common: they are not marked on the map like a normal collectible.

The sumi-e paintings and the Nine Tails' puzzle boxes have to be found by exploring. And Speaking with the Land is the extreme case: ten spots across Ezo where you have to stop and bow or play the shamisen, with nothing telling you that spot counts.

The rest of the platinum holds your hand. These three do not.

If you are going for the platinum, start collecting these three from the very first region. Having to sweep the whole of Ezo again at the end is what makes a lot of people quit.

Body, Mind, and Spirit is three collections in one

It deserves its own mention because it is the most underestimated one: it asks for every Bamboo Strike, every Shrine Climb and every Hot Spring. Three separate collections in a single trophy, and 46.08% have it.

While you are at it, the Mount Yōtei Shrine climb is the one that gives Inheritance, so it is not entirely loose work.

Each song is a collectible detector. Getting them before anything else turns the game's three hundred-odd pieces into following an arrow. Here are all eight, including the one that comes down to chance.
The 8 zeni hajiki tables and why your counter falls short
Eight tables, eight charms. If your counter reads 6 of 8 and you swear you played them all, you are not missing a table: you are missing second wins.
Weapons are not bought, they are learned: the master tales are the catalogue
Take Aim and Quick Draw share almost the same percentage because they are the same content: every weapon comes from a master tale and there is no other route. Thirteen gear and combat trophies.
Two of the tales ask for two masters, not one: that is why they get lost
The Way of the Ōdachi starts on its own during another tale, and anyone who does not know a second master is missing ends up halfway. Ten sensei and side tales, plus the minigame almost nobody finds.
