Ghost of Yōtei trophies and achievements
Ghost of Yōtei has 62 trophies, but the platinum closes at 53: the 2 New Game+ ones and the 6 Legends ones sit outside it.
And it is the most attainable platinum of everything we have analysed: 42.40% of players have it. Not a single trophy is missable, none requires a connection and difficulty makes no difference. This is a map platinum: it is about emptying Ezo, not about clearing any skill check.
The number that sums it up: 66.45% finish the story and 42.40% platinum it. Almost two out of every three people who finish Ghost of Yōtei walk away with the platinum too.

Common questions about Ghost of Yōtei trophies
How many trophies do you need for the Ghost of Yōtei platinum?
53, not 62. The base game has 54 trophies with the platinum included; the other 8 are DLC: 2 from New Game+ and 6 from Legends.
And it is worth knowing, because the two rarest trophies in the game are in Legends and you do not need them at all.
Is the Ghost of Yōtei platinum hard?
No. We score it 3 out of 10 and it is the most attainable of every game we have analysed: 42.40% get it.
There are no missable trophies, nothing is online and difficulty makes no difference, so you can play on the most comfortable mode and even turn on the accessibility options. All it asks for is 45 to 60 hours of map work.
What is the rarest trophy in Ghost of Yōtei?
No More Lessons, at 2.71%: reaching rank 25 with every Legends class. It belongs to the co-op DLC and does not count towards the platinum.
Of the ones that do count, the rarest is An Artist's Eye at 43.56%, completing all the sumi-e paintings. It sits just 1.16 points above the platinum (42.40%), exactly what you expect from the last trophy left for almost everybody: barely anyone gets it, and they end up without the platinum.
Are there missable trophies in Ghost of Yōtei?
None. You can explore Ezo in whatever order you like and go back to any area afterwards.
The only decision you have to get right is the one in The Woman Behind the Mask: you have to show mercy to the innkeeper's daughter. And even then, the trophy can be picked up on another playthrough.
How long does it take to platinum Ghost of Yōtei?
Between 45 and 60 hours in a single playthrough. The story is around 25-30 and the rest is clearing the map.
The split is deceptive: the story trophies land almost on their own, and the last 20 hours go entirely on collectibles — sumi-e, puzzle boxes, fox dens, wolf dens, altars and camps.
