What it asks for, exactly

Complete the game without eating meat and without killing a single animal. Both conditions at once, for the entire playthrough.

8.23% have it, and it is the rarest trophy in the base game: rarer even than the platinum seen from the inside, because whoever gets it usually has everything else already.

The difficulty is not in the execution. It is that you have to commit before you start and then not fail once in a hundred hours.

Careful

There is no fixing it halfway through. One mouthful of meat or one dead animal and the trophy is closed until your next run.

Food: what you can eat and what you cannot

The problem is not the obvious meat. It is that plenty of cooked dishes contain it and the game does not put that in your face when you are starving at three in the morning.

The safe way to play is to leave anything cooked alone and live on bread, cheese, fruit, vegetables and meat-free pottage. You go hungry more often, so always carry supplies.

Key

Read the description of every dish before the first bite. That habit is what decides this trophy.

Animals: the three places people fail

Hunting. Some quests and tasks push you into hunting. Nearly all of them have another way out: talk, buy the carcass or turn the job down. If you cannot find one, leave the job undone.

Dogs. They count as animals, and this is where the trophy is lost most often: they show up in fights and in bandit camps, and in the middle of a scrap it is desperately easy to take one down without noticing.

Area attacks. Anything that deals damage in a radius — explosions, incendiary arrows — can catch an animal you never saw.

Fact

Horses are animals too. Be careful in mounted fights against other riders: aiming at the animal is tempting and it costs you dearly.

How to fit it around the rest of the platinum

Lent sits fine alongside everything else except one thing: the firearm combat trophies. Overkill asks you to blow a rabbit apart with the hand cannon, and that is killing an animal.

Both are base-game trophies and both are needed for the platinum, so they do not fit in the same playthrough. It is the only real incompatibility in the platinum, and it is worth knowing before you start.

The sensible plan: run the first playthrough Lent-style with everything else, then pick up Overkill and anything that slipped past you on a short second run.

Other Kingdom Come: Deliverance II guides

The 22 missable trophies in the Kingdom Come: Deliverance II platinum
Almost half the platinum hangs on decisions you only make once. Here is the full list and the point at which each one closes.
The 35 DLC trophies in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and why none of them counts
Five separate packs, 35 trophies and zero impact on the platinum. Among them, the two rarest in the whole game.
The hand cannon trophies in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
Four firearm trophies, all below 13%, and none of them is hard: it is just that almost nobody uses the thing.
Kingdom Come II's two points of no return and what dies at each one
The platinum asks for around 90% of the game, and two main quests permanently close their region's side content. Here are both, with the complete list of what has to be done first.
The six story trophies: two are missable and two out of three never finish
No campaign on this site has this many missable story trophies. Face to Face and A Bird in the Hand depend on how you resolve the scene, not on reaching it. And only 34.41% see the ending.
The seventeen side quests: twelve are missable and none warns you
Henry the Matchmaker asks for the ending nobody picks, and Talked My Way Out demands you end up sentenced to death with high Speech. Seventeen threads, which close as you progress and which have only one valid ending.
The seven combat feats: two need counting from the start
Offensive Versatility asks for nine different weapon types and Under Pressure fails if you bandage out of habit. Seven combat trophies, from 68.02% to 13.33%, and none depends on difficulty.
Dice, locks and 10,000 groschen: the ten tavern trophies
There is a trophy for spending 10,000 groschen and another for losing them, and the second is taken at the dice table on purpose. Ten minigame and competition trophies, including the two DLC ones that do not count towards the platinum.
Brushes With Death: ten trophies and two incompatible endings
Curiosity Killed the Cat and resolving Libor's thread properly are mutually exclusive: one of the two is left out every run. Ten DLC trophies, none counts towards the platinum and eight are missable.
The forge DLC: the game's rarest trophy depends on a randomly offered activity
Ragged's Dream sits at 4.19% and is the rarest trophy in the whole game, DLC included, because the activity that gives it is offered at random each day. Ten forge trophies and four below 4%.
Mysteria Ecclesiae: eight trophies, all missable, and one asks you to die in the most absurd way
Ostraconophobia asks you to let a crayfish kill you and sits at 3.09%. Eight trophies from the third DLC, none counts towards the platinum, and all eight are lost if you finish the content without them.
