They don't exist on a first playthrough

There are 11 objects marked with Inari-sama's seal: seven boxes and four doors. And here's the fact that reshapes your whole playthrough plan: they can only be opened in New Game+, and only once you have the Brooch.

Which means hunting them on a first run is wasted time. You can be standing right in front of one and be unable to touch it.

Inside there's more than the achievement: they hold documents that count towards the reading achievements, hidden omamori and character upgrades. That's why Fervent Collector, which wants every inventory-expanding item, partly depends on this list: several of those upgrades sit behind an Inari-sama seal.

Key

The last door closes the achievement on the spot. If you've opened the previous ten, Inari-sama's Secrets pops the moment you open the fourth door, in the third crest's puzzle room.

All 11, in the order they appear

They follow the route in order, so playing normally you'll meet them one after another without backtracking.

No.AreaWhere it is
Box 1Ebisugaoka, first visitPast the first Hokora shrine, go down the stairs and turn immediately right: you'll spot an openable shoe box.
Box 2Shrine PathDuring the shrine vault puzzle a new section opens to the south-east. Cross the bridge to the large tree and go behind it.
Box 3Ebisugaoka, second visitImmediately past the Hokora on the northern horizontal road, turn left: it's in a garden, beside some statues.
Door 1CorridorsFollow the corridors north-west: that's where the door is, and now it opens.
Box 4Ebisugaoka Middle SchoolOnce outside, head to the west side and climb through a window into a classroom where you hear a crackling radio. The box is at the back.
Door 2Worship HallIn the western area, squeeze through the gap in the wall to the south: the door is there, and both items are inside.
Box 5Ebisugaoka, fourth visitGo up the stairs to a gazebo and walk around it: the box is on the ground.
Door 3Main HallWith the Fox Arm already in hand, go through the doors in the south-east corner. Climb two flights of stairs, clear the enemies, reveal the hidden room and open the door.
Box 6Ebisugaoka, fifth visitAfter crossing the park, it sits in the yard of the house before the Hokora.
Box 7Shimizu ResidenceIn the residence's first area: west corridor, two rooms north, the room before the photo room. The box sits off to the side.
Door 4Treasure HallOn entering the third crest puzzle room — the one with the fox statues and six doors — the door on your immediate right bears the Inari-sama design. That's the one that closes the achievement.
