They are two trophies, not one

It is the most common misreading on the list: omamori give two separate trophies and they do not overlap.

Omamori Collector asks for the ones you get by drawing at the hokora, the little shrines scattered around the areas. 24.82% have it.

Omamori Sage asks for the hidden ones, which never appear at a hokora and have to be found around the environment. At 23.98% it is the third rarest trophy in the whole game, behind only the platinum and the top difficulty.

Where the hidden omamori are

There are 17 and none of them show up at a hokora: they have to be found around the environment. Thirteen are in the first run and four only appear in New Game+.

Careful

Four of the seventeen only exist in New Game+, so the trophy cannot be earned in a single run no matter how hard you try: you have to reach the second one at least. And within each run they are missable, because they belong to specific areas and the game does not let you go back to an earlier chapter. The Blessed Hand Mirror is the odd one out: it only appears on Story action difficulty and is not required for the trophy. If you play on another difficulty and never see it, you have missed nothing.

Do not confuse omamori with ema

Ema are the tablets scattered across the eleven areas, redeemed at the hokora to raise health, sanity and stamina. They give no trophy of their own, but they are what unlocks Close to the Sun, which asks for all three stats maxed out.

At 24.14%, that trophy is among the rarest in the game, and not because it is hard but because it demands sweeping all eleven areas without missing a thing.
