How these challenges work
There are 10 challenges, the biggest Mastery category alongside special weapons, and half of them are in Demeniss.
Be careful with the travel ones — the fourth, the sixth and the ninth — because they are timed rides and you want a high-level horse and the routes already cleared. The tenth asks you to tame three legendary steeds, so leave it for last.
Like every other challenge in the game, progress only starts counting once you have picked up the matching Sealed Abyss Artifact, and it does not count retroactively. The artifacts show up as purple icons on the minimap when you are close, and the sword's Guiding Light ability spots them from a distance.
