How these challenges work
There are 6 challenges and one restriction drives the whole plan: only Kliff and Damiane can equip a shield. If you have poured everything into Oongka, you will have to switch characters.
Watch out for the fifth one: it asks you to throw the shield with R3, and only Damiane can do that.
Like every other challenge in the game, progress only starts counting once you have picked up the matching Sealed Abyss Artifact, and it does not count retroactively. The artifacts show up as purple icons on the minimap when you are close, and the sword's Guiding Light ability spots them from a distance.
