The 60 Secret Places in Crimson Desert
The 60 Secret Places challenges, how to spot them on the ground and why you should clear the map before going hunting. They unlock Pilgrim of Wonders.
And it counts towards Expert Explorer, required for the platinum.
What they are and how many there are
In game they are listed as Wandering Footsteps, and with 60 trials they are the biggest subcategory in all of Crimson Desert. They are about finding hidden corners: caves, minor ruins, stashes and spots with strange energy.
Completing all 60 unlocks their trophy, and they all count towards Expert Explorer as well, the gold that demands all nine exploration subcategories at 100%: 207 challenges in total.
When they are worth doing
On the ground they appear as zones marked with a white question mark icon. Always check them: that same icon is used for fast travel points, so you never know which of the two you are about to find, and you want both.
What we recommend
This is where ringing the 8 Hidden Bells first pays off most. With the map cleared this is an orderly sweep; with fog it is hours of walking in circles. At EveryTrophy we do not recommend starting this subcategory until the bells are done.
No challenge counts until you have its Sealed Abyss Artifact, and progress is not recorded retroactively. Collect all 141 before getting serious about this subcategory.
