These are 11 challenges spread across the five regions. Most are about covering ground rather than skill, apart from a couple of oddities: one asks you to subdue a bear using nothing but a broom and another to cling to a wolf and stab it six times in a row.
The longest by far is The End of Myth, which asks you to hunt and skin the Silver Fang, the white bear, the white-scaled crocodile and the white bison: four legendary beasts scattered across Pywel.
Like the rest, progress only counts from the moment you find its Sealed Abyss Artifact and it is not tracked retroactively. Artifacts show up as purple icons on the minimap when you are close, and the sword's Guiding Light ability picks them out from a distance.
