What they are and how many there are
There are 4 challenges, by far the shortest exploration subcategory. Each one is an enclosed maze you have to work your way through to the end.
Completing all 4 unlocks their trophy, and they all count towards Expert Explorer as well, the gold that demands all nine exploration subcategories at 100%: 207 challenges in total.
When they are worth doing
Look at the number: only four trials, and yet just 8.68% of players have the trophy. It is not that they are hard: it is that mazes are not on your route, you have to go looking for them on purpose.
What we recommend
That is why they are, by a wide margin, the best effort-to-reward ratio on the whole trophy list. Four visits and you have an entire trophy. If you are doing the initial map sweep, do not walk past them.

No challenge counts until you have its Sealed Abyss Artifact, and progress is not recorded retroactively. Collect all 141 before getting serious about this subcategory.
